My Pets

Come and meet Vovka, my fluffy little Samoyed puppy — and a few other animals I absolutely love.

Meet Vovka

Vovka is my fluffy Samoyed puppy, and he is the softest, smiliest friend you could ever imagine. His fur is so white and cloud-like that when he curls up he looks like a little pile of fresh snow.

He loves his garden walks, snowy days and big warm cuddles. Samoyeds are famous for their happy "smile", and Vovka smiles all the time — especially when it's time to play. He is gentle, friendly and gives the best snuggles.

Fun facts about Samoyeds

Four fluffy things that make Samoyeds like Vovka so special.

Born to herd reindeer

Long ago in snowy Siberia, Samoyeds helped people herd reindeer and pull sleds across the ice. They are true snow dogs!

The famous "Sammy smile"

Their mouth curves up at the corners — and it isn't just cute. The upturned smile stops drool, so no icy dribbles form in the cold.

Super fluffy & white

Samoyeds have a thick double coat that is fluffy, soft and bright white — perfect for staying cosy and warm on freezing days.

Gentle and friendly

They are kind, playful and love being with their family. Samoyeds make wonderful, gentle friends — just like Vovka.

Not pets — just favourites

Animals I love

Vovka is my only real pet, but these are some other animals I think are amazing.

Fox

A fox's fluffy tail is called a "brush" and helps it balance and stay warm.

Cat

Cats have whiskers that work like rulers to check if they can fit through a gap.

Whale

The blue whale is the biggest animal that has ever lived — even bigger than dinosaurs!

Owl

Owls can turn their heads almost all the way around to look behind them.

Be kind to all animals

Every animal — big or small, fluffy or scaly — has feelings and a home to care about. Being gentle, giving fresh water, speaking softly and looking after wild places helps them all. Kindness is a superpower we can share with every creature we meet.
